Balloon Glow

At dusk watch the spectacular Balloon Glow, the magnificent balloons glow in time to music, with their burners lighting the sky highlighting their size and shape. Gates opening at 5pm, with be pre glow entertainment, balloons glowing after dark, finishing the night with a fireworks display. 

The balloon Glow will take place at Leeton’s No. 1 Oval. Food, refreshments and music will keep the whole family in high spirits. Entry is via a gold coin donation.

Please note that this event is weather dependent. In the event of strong winds balloons may not be able to glow.

Leeton Sunrice Festival

Held biennially at Easter during the rice harvest. The festival celebrates the importance of the rice industry to our community. The five day event provides entertainment and family activities. This year's events include Roar into Easter Cocktail Party, Leetons Longest Lunch, the street parade, Festival on Mountford, Balloon Glow, hot air balloon rides, Riverina Skate Championships.

Leeton Town Band Outback Spectacular

For 3 days Leeton is host to concerts and performances from some of the best concert and brass bands in the country. Over 20 bands will be performing in businesses around Leeton.

The highlight of the weekend is the mass band performance with over 150 musicians playing simultaneously. Instrument repair man Geoff Edmonds will be on hand over the weekend for advice on instrument repair and servicing.

Leeton Community Christmas Lunch

The Leeton Community Christmas Lunch will once again be held on Christmas Day at St Peters Anglican Church Hall, Oak Street Leeton.

Come along for a two course Christmas Lunch and small gift on arrival, all for a gold coin donation. People can now make donations or give a present at the Giving Tree at the Golden Apple.

The tree has gift tags and you just choose a gift that you would like to buy. Gifts and donations are distributed to local nursing homes, women's refuges or sick children in hospital.
